Measuring Fan Hate by Likes 2013

I was unsure if I'd continue the “Goodbye, ______ [team]” during the playoffs, but after the Canucks lost in the first round and I was silent I was poked too many times not to do it. It's also become a fun social experiment.

What happens: every time a team gets knocked out of the playoffs, I post “Goodbye, ______ [team]” to Facebook and Twitter. Google+ isn't getting much chatter, so I passed on that this past season. I do it for the first 14 teams that lose a series. To the Cup winners go congratulations, and to the losers a tip of the hat.

Last season I took a look at the likes and comments from Facebook. This season I've added FB shares and Twitter retweets, favorites and replies.
